The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is a bilateral exchange program, that provides grants for individually designed study/research projects. The Semi-Finalist distinction denotes support by the U.S. Fulbright Commission and is received by only a select number of applicants.
Education First Study Abroad Diversity Scholarship(2023)
EF Study Abroad Diversity and Equity Scholarships are given to students in traditionally underserved and underrepresented communities within study abroad. As a commitment to increase equity, accessibility, and diversity of study abroad travelers around the world, EF encourages students who are in historically marginalized groups to apply, including but not limited to: racial, ethnic, LGBTQI+, mental or physical limitation, veteran, and first-generation students. Nine scholarships are given out to recipients each year. For this category we are grading applicants who are in historically marginalized and underrepresented communities in study abroad, including but not limited to: racial, ethnic, LGBTQI+, mental or physical limitation, veteran, and first generation students. Applicants are awarded their scholarship based on their knowledge of diversity and empathy, knowledge of their own identity and culture, and desire to expand their global-perspective and cultural knowledge, demonstration of passion and character, as well as a professor’s assessment of why this student is deserving of a scholarship, considering their connection to identity and personal qualities, and their academic performance.
Dr. Warner Moore Graduate Fellowship (2022)
Alpha Lambda Delta fellowships were established to help qualified members obtain graduate or professional degrees. Candidates are considered on the basis of merit, being an initiated member of Alpha Lambda Delta who has maintained a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative grade point average through graduation is eligible to apply, selected based on academic records, recommendations submitted, essay questions, and campus and community activities.
H. Y. Benedict Graduate Fellowship (2021)
Every year, Alpha Chi awards national fellowships for full-time graduate study toward the master’s, doctoral, or professional degree. A fellowship nominee must be or have been enrolled in an undergraduate program in the school year 2020-21, plan to graduate or have graduated with the baccalaureate degree during this same school year, and plan to begin full-time graduate study in the fall semester of 2021. Students submit a letter of recommendation alongside a 10+ page academic paper, of which they have written >50% of the content, to be judged for clarity, originality, and correctness of form.

Alpha Epsilon Lambda (2022)
Alpha Epsilon Lambda was founded in 1990 with the specific objective of recognizing the academic and leadership accomplishments of graduate and professional school students. AEL’s purpose is to promote ethics, intellectual achievement, and leadership among graduate students.
Order of the Engineer (2023)
The Order of the Engineer is an association for graduate and professional engineers in the United States that emphasizes pride and responsibility in the engineering profession. engineering graduates take the Obligation of the Order and recieve a stainless steel ring. The ring is worn on the little finger so that it will drag across any surface on which the wearer writes, providing a constant reminder of the engineer’s oath.

Charles R. Walgreen Jr. Leadership Award (2021)
This leadership award is given in recognition of academic achievement to a member maintaining a GPA of at least 3.0 or higher and recognizes outstanding leadership, as demonstrated by activities and accomplishments within the chapter, on campus, and in the community. This award recognizes the lifelong commitment of Charles R. Walgreen, Jr., as a TKE volunteer and supporter.
Edwin W. Gaston Scholarship (2020)
The Edwin W. Gaston Scholarship is awarded to a junior who plans to continue full-time academic work in the following year. Scholars must be nominated by their chapters due to their qualifications and commitment to chapter activities, submit a letter of application specifying educational and career goals, and an academic paper or other appropriate work completed during the student’s time at their home institution and evaluated by an expert in the field, judged for clarity, originality, and correctness of form.
Ronald W. Reagan Leadership Scholarship (2020)
This leadership award is given in recognition of academic achievement with a Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 or higher and recognized outstanding leadership, as demonstrated by activities and accomplishments within the chapter, on campus, and in the community. It is one of the top scholarships awarded by Tau Kappa Epsilon. Named in honor of the 40th president of the United States, this award recognizes Frater Reagan’s dedication and loyalty to Tau Kappa Epsilon.
James G. Stemler Study Abroad Scholarship (2020)
The James G. Stemler Study Abroad Scholarships are awarded to Alpha Lambda Delta members who are pursuing a credit-bearing study abroad program to enhance their academic studies. Twenty national scholarships are given each academic year.
This award was not used, as COVID-19 canceled my study abroad program.
American Chemical Society, SCI-Scholar (2019)
A summer internship program, co-sponsored by the American Chemical Society, The Society of Chemical Industry, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, that is awarded to exceptional sophomores and juniors majoring in chemistry and chemical engineering. Students are selected based on the strength of their application, statement of interest in an industrial internship, and letters of recommendation.
Donald A. & John R. Rischer Memorial Scholar (2019)
This scholarship is awarded in recognition of academic achievement with a Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 or higher, and recognizes outstanding leadership within the chapter, on campus, and within the community.
Tau Kappa Epsilon All-Teke Academic Team (2019)
Given for leadership as demonstrated by chapter, campus, and community involvement, and academic excellence.

Charles R. Oliver Memorial Scholarship Award (2021)
In 1990, the friends and family of Professor Charles Oliver established the Charles R. Oliver Memorial Scholarship. Dr. Oliver was a Professor of English and French at Lyon from 1966 until his death in 1989. The faculty of his division award it annually to a junior or senior who has done outstanding work in one, and preferably both, of Dr. Oliver’s disciplines and who is also in the top ten percent of the class.
Pi Delta Phi (2021)
French honor society, for academic excellence in French courses.
Mr. Lyon College (2021)
This award is given to one male and one female student, voted on by both a student-body vote and a faculty nomination process, who best represents the ideals of the college, particularly in academics and leadership.
Hall of Leaders Award (2021)
This award is given to students for “demonstrating outstanding involvement with campus life and extracurricular activities, and having exemplified a commitment to the positive enhancement of Lyon College.”
Music & Physics Book Awards (2021)
Each year, the Lyon College faculty select one student in each discipline to receive a book award, honoring their academic contributions to that discipline.

Summer Experience Fair Dean Scholar (2019)
Awarded for having the best presentation at an on-campus fair for underclassmen looking for summer opportunities. Presented on my experience as an ACS SCI-Scholar at Hexion. Given to the student with the highest marks in Professionalism, Visual Aid, and Presentation Skills. Assessed by 4 judges.

Fellowship awarded to a select group of students for exemplary academic and research potential. Invitation to follow an honors-level curriculum and travel with a cohort of honors students both domestically and internationally.
